"There are classes that require you to use the computers, so I use them at school rather than home," said Edwin Ceron, 20, business marketing.
"I think that there should be some enforcement with people that will fool around on the computers," he added.
A new regulation in the library aims to ease the problem.
"One of the things we've started to do is making announcements to students to log off so that those who need it can use them," said Tirapelle.
"The announcements have helped when there are lines. We try to make announcements whenever there are more than five people in line," she added.
Tirapelle hopes that by the winter semester about 16 laptops will be available for check out to use in the library for two hours when the labs become overcrowded and that when the new system for the computers is installed, the crowds will be reduced.
"We see the overcrowding as a temporary thing…the laptops will help a lot," said Tirapelle.
"They're working hard…towards a new system. While they're working things out, we have to suffer, but it is unfortunate that we have to suffer," she added.
