The defending champion Lancers advanced to their seventh straight State Final 8 Tournament by defeating Riverside Community College (22-9) by a score of 65-56 on Friday night at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium.
Lancers softball hosted Long Beach City College on Tuesday afternoon but lost 3-0. The loss came after a rained out tournament that PCC hoped to win for the second year in a row.
